Our Return Policy

All returns require authorization from Dairy Tech, Incorporated “DTI” and an RMA number. Please complete the form to the right to obtain an RMA number. If it is deemed that an item should be returned, a representative from DTI will send you an RMA number with shipping instructions.

Items will not be accepted by DTI for return if not accompanied by a valid RMA number, which must be clearly marked on the outside of the package.

Returns will be authorized in accordance with the following policy:

Warranty Returns:  Items to be returned for warranty coverage must be within the applicable warranty period – this is defined as one-year within purchase date of DTI equipment, not including heating elements. All warranty replacement items will be shipped and paid for by Dairy Tech Inc via FEDEX ground. If the customer requests overnight shipping these fees will be paid for by the customer. DTI will issue full credit for authorized return items.

If the defective items are not returned back to DTI within 30 days of receiving the new replacement items, then Dairy Tech retains the right to charge full price for the warranty replacement item in question.

Non-Warranty Returns:  If the customer wishes to return an item for repair that is no longer within the warranty period or for damage not covered by the warranty, DTI will advise the customer of the estimated cost of the repair. Return of the item will be the authorization to repair and the agreement to pay for the cost of repair, whether or not it exceeds the original estimate.  Customers are responsible for all transportation charges for all non-warranty returns.

Stock Returns: Authorization of stock returns is at the sole discretion of DTI. If a stock item is authorized for return and is a customer error, 15% of the purchase price will be applied as a standard restocking charge. Items must be new, unused, and contain all the original packaging, instruction manuals, and accessories. There is no restocking charge due to errors by DTI if correct order information was furnished with the order. Customers are responsible for all transportation charges for all stock returns that are not related to DTI errors.

Other Policy Conditions:  For all returned items, the customer must ensure that the product is appropriately packaged. Items shipped to DTI freight collect will be refused. Shipping damages resulting from improper packaging will be the customer’s responsibility.

By choosing to request an RMA number from DTI, it is implied that the customer has agreed to the terms of the Dairy Tech, Incorporated RMA Policy.
