Description
The Hanna brix digital refractometer is a rugged, portable, water resistant equipment for measurements of colostrum Total Solids in the lab or in the field. These optical instruments employ the measurement of the refractive index to determine parameters pertinent to Total Solids in colostrum. The measurement of the refractive index is simple and quick. Samples are measured after a simple user calibration with deionized or destilled water. Within seconds, these instruments measure the refractive index of the sample and convert it to percent by weight concentration units.
